Corrections
If an entry or a regulation date is wrong, email [email protected]. Please include the page address, the sentence you believe is wrong, and a public source that supports the correction. Do not send leaked, stolen, or confidential material.
Organizations named in an entry can use the same address to point out an error or add public context. Every request is reviewed by an editor.
How a correction is shown
We do not silently rewrite facts. When we correct an entry:
- A “Corrected” label with the date appears at the top of the entry.
- A dated correction note explains what changed.
- The same note is added to the entry’s change log.
- The “Last updated” date changes.
Small fixes that don’t change meaning, such as typos or broken links, are noted in the change log.
Regulation dates are re-checked against the issuer’s own page. The “Verified” date shows when an editor last checked.
